About AGSP
MISSIONAGSP is committed to providing girls in Addison and the surrounding communities an opportunity to play organized sports. AGSP offers two programs, Softball and Volleyball.
HISTORY
The Addison Girls Sports Program is a non-for-profit organization established in 1993. The program has enjoyed much growth and success, as it boasts over 450 registered participants each year.
SOFTBALL
AGSP offers four leagues to accommodate girls of all ages. We provide the girls with an instructional league at ages 6 thru 8, an in-house and travel league for ages 9 and 10, travel leagues for the 11 thru 14 year olds. The organization supports 24 teams a spring and summer including tournament teams upon the successful completion of our seasons.
VOLLEYBALL
AGSP supports fall and winter activities as well. We offer 4 leagues to accommodate girls from grades 4 thru High School. The girl's practice once or twice a week and compete in best of three matches on Saturday. The volleyball league also supports an exciting tournament upon the season's completion.
GOALS
AGSP strives to promote personal development as well as sports. Our parents, families and friends volunteer their time to coach the sports and are encouraged to emphasize teamwork, sportsmanship and developing self-esteem. AGSP provides activities 12 months a year! Our goal is to continue to provide affordable and fun sports programs for the families of our community and with your support we can continue to achieve this goal.
